Processing of personal data

Nortehispana de Seguros y Reaseguros, S.A. (hereinafter, Nortehispana), acting as the personal data controller and a company within the Catalana Occidente Group, is adhered to the personal data protection policy of Grupo Catalana Occidente, which governs the processing of personal data provided by employees, insurance distributors and collaborators and published on the intranet for employees and the extranet for insurance distributors and collaborators, thus guaranteeing their confidentiality in compliance with the provisions set forth in the General Data Protection Regulation and other applicable regulations. To this end, it has also adopted the required technical and organisational security measures.

The personal data accessed from the intranet and the different Nortehispana web portals are also confidential and are exclusively aimed at being used by the company's employees and insurance distributors and collaborators solely for the performance of their professional and work-related functions. Therefore, access to and use of this personal data for any other purpose than aforementioned shall be deemed a breach of the above-mentioned personal data protection policy, as well as the applicable regulations, and this may lead to applying the legally established sanctions. The employees, insurance distributors and collaborators, as holders of their personal data, are assisted by the rights of access, rectification, deletion, the right to be forgotten, objection, and processing and portability restrictions; these rights may be exercised as set forth in the General Data Protection Regulation and other applicable regulations by providing proof of identity and notifying the Data Protection Officer assigned by Nortehispana in writing using their e-mail address: dpo@nortehispana.com or by postal mail to Pau Claris, nº 132, 08009 - Barcelona.
